The queen is dead, and the king has just perished in battle, leaving nothing behind but a princess with skin as white as snow, cheeks as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony, and her power-hungry, wicked stepmother. The new, evil queen discovers a book of magic and uses this new power to wipe out the kingdom of the dwarfs and fashion a magic mirror tol tell her that she is the fairest in the land. But as the young princess, Snow White, comes of age, her beauty surpasses that of her wicked stepmother. The queen attempts to have her stepdaughter killed and Snow White flees south, into the land which once belonged to the dwarfs.

Snow White stumbles upon the home of seven dwarfs, the only survivors of the evil queen’s reign of terror. Living among the dwarfs, Snow White grows older, wiser, and more beautiful, and when the queen discovers that she is still alive, she knows she must act quickly and discreetly to preserve her beauty and power.
