Summer 2025 Junior Theatre Camps
Description
Students will adventure throughout DJT, as we bring the theatrical arts to life for kids of all ages. Students explore in an array of special workshops (which may include Broadway, Improv, Props Design, and more!) and collaborate on the creation of their very own script to perform! Our theme is new every time so kids can take camp again and again.
Students are to bring a sack lunch and water bottle. Snack break provided.
Parent or Guardian must fill out Camp Waiver before the first day of camp.
Camp ends with a performance for family and friends on Friday at 4:00pm.
Camp Price:
$210 Davenport Resident
$230 Non-Davenport Resident
$30 Add on Fee for early drop off (7:45-8:40am) and late pickup (3:40-5:15pm)
*DJT is a proud program of Davenport Parks & Recreation. As taxpayers who offset the cost of our department, Davenport citizens receive a 20% discount (up to a $20 cap) per directive of City Council.
Junior Theatre Camp I:
Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 13

Young performers ride into adventure as they create tall tales, bring frontier legends to life, and learn the art of storytelling, confidence, and stagecraft—all with a rootin’-tootin’ Wild West twist!

Junior Theatre Camp II:
Monday, June 16 - Friday, June 20
8:45 AM - 3:30 PM
Embark on a legendary adventure! Young knights will explore the magic of Arthurian tales through storytelling, performance, and creative quests, bringing the enchanting world of Camelot to life.

Monday, July 7 - Friday, July 11

Step right up and shine in the spotlight! Young performers will juggle imagination, clown around with creativity, and bring the magic of the circus to life through storytelling, stage skills, and show-stopping fun.

Blast off into a universe of creativity! Young explorers will journey through the stars, crafting stories and performances inspired by the wonders of space, while discovering their own cosmic talents.
