Sophie Pepper, Instructor

Sophie’s dance career started at DJT when she was 5. She has taken classes and performed many different styles including ballet, jazz, poms, and lyrical. She then danced competitively with the Davenport Central Blue Illusion Dance Team where they earned 4 state titles and earned 5th place at Nationals in Orlando, Florida. 

She is now attending University of Northern Iowa where she is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science with a minor in Athletic Training and Rehabilitation. After undergrad Sophie plans to attend a Doctorate program to become a pediatric physical therapist. 

Sophie is so grateful for everything that dance has provided for her, and for her time at DJT. She hopes to share that passion with her students!
