Adrienne Anderson, Instructor

Adrienne has enjoyed dancing from a young age. From preschool through high school, she studied ballet in the Quad Cities. She especially enjoyed the experience of teaching young kids at her dance studio near the end of her high school career. In adulthood, Adrienne has always worked with children in one way or another. She has experience as a public school classroom teacher, behavioral health worker, and as a personal trainer and fitness instructor at the YMCA where she has taught several youth fitness classes. In 2022, her own children encouraged her to return to her roots by revisiting an old hobby: ballet. She has regularly been attending adult ballet classes at the Ballet Quad Cities School of Dance since then. This has reignited her passion for ballet, and with her own kids' involvement at Davenport Junior Theater, it seemed that teaching dance here was the next best step! She is excited to teach young children the basics and beauty of ballet while encouraging them to have fun expressing themselves through movement and building confidence in who they are no matter where life takes them.
