Jillian Sharfe, Instructor

Jillian was born and raised here in the Quad Cities, attending and graduating Moline High. She first came to DJT back when she was 10 years old for the summer camps. After just one camp, Jillian was hooked on theatre. Yearly coming back and by the time she was 13, she was making it on the stage here at DJT and at her middle. In high school, she dove into her love for theatre and musical arts. Showing up on the stage both at Moline High School and right here at JT. Some of her favorite roles have been Katie in Meet Me In St. Louis, and the Earthworm in James and the Giant Peach. 

Saying goodbye was “such sweet sorrow”, but off to Illinois State University she went. There she had the opportunity to teach toddlers for two and a half years. Jillian is currently finishing her last year(senior year!),serving the Quad Cities Illinois side as a Deaf and Hard of hearing student teacher! 

Outside of classes; Jillian loves to be with her family that lives near by, walking the river at sunset, and of course studying hard! She is very excited to get to jump back into the beautiful art of theatre!
