Season 72: Suzette Who Set to Sea

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY!

Congratulations to all who auditioned! You are amazing, awesome and brave young people, and we are so lucky to have you in our Mainstage family. We hope all of you will continue to take classes, camps and workshops alongside your Mainstage endeavors. Spring Break camp is NEXT WEEK through age 13 and a few slots are left! Register here. Registration for summer classes and camps is open NOW! Check out our class offerings - HERE! Whether cast or not, there is always more to learn!

We had an overwhelming turn out for these auditions. We were super impressed with your talent, but unfortunately, we are not able to cast everyone who auditioned. Just because you weren’t cast this time, does not mean you won’t be cast in the future!

Should you have any additional questions about the audition process, do not hesitate to email Artistic Director Ashley Becher at Ashley@davenportjuniortheatre.org.

SCHEDULE

OPENING REHEARSAL
MONDAY
, March 18TH 6pm

One parent or guardian please attend. On the first day of rehearsal, we ask parents to join us for the opening 30 minutes. We have information for you and the kids that we’d love to share! We’ll also have a chance to field any and all questions you may have as well.

CONFLICTS
We pride ourselves on reliable and consistent scheduling. Please let us know of any additional conflicts and we will try to honor them.  If there are too many last minute conflicts, we may have to recast the part. This rarely happens.

REHEARSALS
March 18-April 26

Master schedule will be found in your packet coming next Monday, March 11th.

TECH TIME
April 15-April 26

Please no conflicts during these days. It is vital that students are there throughout tech process and for final rehearsals. Everyone has a specific role to play (onstage and offstage). It is quite difficult to cover. I know there are some unavoidable conflicts in this time, like choir/band concerts during this time. We will work around those, but need to know in advance. If you had conflicts on your audition form for this time, we are aware and they are approved.

PERFORMANCES
Note - Crew and Actors arrive 90 minutes prior to all performances. STP and FOH will arrive 60 minutes prior.

Saturdays April 27th & May 4th @ 1:00PM & 4:00PM
Sundays April 28th & May 5th @ 3:00PM

(Strike immediately following final show, all students called including FOH and STP. Students usually dismissed by 6:00pm)

Registration Fee

Actor registration is $75.00. Crew registration is $45.00.  There is no fee for Front-of-House or Showtime Pal.

Or you can pay registration fee by cash or check at the first rehearsal.

We encourage all our students to try out again and continue to take classes here at DJT or gain theatrical experience wherever they can! Stay involved in school, church and other local theatre groups to keep performing.
