This show is completely produced by our Junior Theatre Mainstage Company of ages 10-18.
Directed, designed, marketed, and performed by KIDS!
The Mainstage brings together students with local professional designers and directors to create high-quality productions at an affordable rate to all. Students are not only the actors onstage, but they are also the crew, front-of-house team, Showtime Pal, and more!
Mainstage plays are by audition only, and consist of students ages 10 and up from all over the Quad City area. Students must have completed a Junior Theatre class or camp before auditioning.
We typically produce three fully-realized productions in the Mary Fluhrer-Nighswander Theatre on the Annie Wittenmyer Complex.

When an unknown thief threatens the princess' most treasured tradition, there is no shortage of feasible fairytale felons. Was it the Big Bad Wolf? The Evil Stepsisters? Someone else? Join junior detectives Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, Gretel (and Hansel), as they follow the clues and navigate Story Book Kingdom's literal and virtual trolls.

Quinn and Sky do not want to read The Swiss Family Robinson. They'll do just about anything to avoid completing their homework, including spending way too much time on their phones. But, when a thunderstorm turns their book into something straight out of Jumanji, the siblings find themselves living out the story-- marooned on an island filled with exotic animals and the treehouse of their dreams. There's only one problem: they don't know how to get home. Swiss Family Robinson is inspired by Johann Wyss' classic tale.
